Shimano FC-M4000 Crank Octalink 3 x 9-speed

The first thing that stands out at the Alivio mountain bike groupset is the new design.

Compared to the previous groupset it has a more aggressive look and a low profile design. 

Since bigger wheel sizes also became more popular in the Alivio segment, the Alivio drivetrain adopted the 40-30-22 triple front crank.
